I love the knitting novels by Debbie Macomber

knitting about 6 months ago and I love to read so it’s only natural I’d be led to the The Shop on Blossom Street and Macomber’s knitting novels. I have to admit, I jumped into the series at number 3, Back on Blossom Street, but I feel in love with the characters and can’t wait to read the others.

I love discovering a new (to me) author who has written a series of books. It’s wonderful to get to know the characters and see how their lives progress through the different books. Since books by Debbie Macomber revolve around knitting and her yarn shop, A Good Yarn, so much the better!

I also just ordered Knit Along with Debbie Macomber - The Shop on Blossom Street (Leisure Arts #4132), which is a knitting book of baby blanket patterns. As you may know, I have two daughters who are expecting soon and it will be nice to make them something special for the babies.

My next purchase will be Debbie Macomber’s Blossom Street Series (Volumes 1-5, The Shop on Blossom Street, A Good Yarn, Back on Blosom Street, Twenty Wishes, And Summer on Blossom Street) so I can have the entire series and read it start to finish.

If you love to read and love to knit, I highly recommend books by Debbie Macomber and her Blossom Street series. If you can’t be knitting, you can at least be reading about knitting!
