Another Knitted Baby Blanket Needed!

We just found out this past week that another daughter is expecting a baby in February so we will be up to our ears in

babies soon! I started another knitted baby blanket and since I haven’t had much luck following patterns, I used the same easy baby blanket pattern I used for the other daughter.

Since we don’t know yet if this one is a boy or a girl, (the other baby is going to be a girl) I used some yarn I had that’s multicolored.

I’ve put my freeform knitting projects on hold until I get the book I ordered by Prudance Mapstone on making freeform knitted and crocheted bags. I wasn’t happy with the way my freeform was turning out. Wish there was a class near Dallas that  I could take! I think it might be easier with some pointers.

I think one thing about freeform knitting is that you need a good knowledge of basic and fancy stitches so you can incorporate a large variety of these into your work.
