Happy Knitting in the New Year from Spinning Alpaca Yarns
Happy New Year from Spinning Alpaca Yarns! I have to apologize to my readers for not getting a new post up last week. I spent the week recovering from having company
over the holiday, putting away Christmas decorations and laying plans for the new year.
This year on my knitting blog, I hope to get two posts a week up, instead of just one. One will be an article focusing on knitting and the other will be another topic from daily life in Texas to growing my own herbs for cooking, recipes and voluntary simplicity tips.
If any of you have topics you’d like to share, like knitting tips, recipes or whatever, just let me know! I’d love to hear from you.
The new year is always the time for new beginnings and this year, I’d like to write more about topics relating to my daily life, as well as continuing to offer free knitting pattern resources. I also would like to try some new forms of art, such as fabric collage, and get back to some passions I used to enjoy, like beading. I’ll be occasionally posting resources for free online classes or other sites I find helpful for learning a new hobby.
In the meantime, please feel free to comment on any of my posts or contact me if there is something you’d like to share.
Do you have a knitting resolution for the new year? Like using more of your stash before buying new yarn? Learning a new stitch or pattern? If you have a knitting resolution for 2012, share it in the comments section.
Happy Knitting for 2012! May we all complete many terrific knitting projects this year and learn many new things.
