I’ve been taking a much needed break from blogging the past couple of month but now, hopefully I’m back to my knitting. Does it seem to you that you’re more interested in knitting in the winter time? I hope now to get back to blogging regularly and I also hope to hear from readers about your current knitting projects. Have you taken a break for summer or are you working on holiday gifts-either for others or for yourself?

Cowls are a beautiful fashion accessory and I’ve found dozens of free patterns to share. Cowls can be thick, bulky and warm or light, airy and lacy. Cowls can also be just large enough to make your neck and shoulders cozy or they can be made longer, like an infinity scarf, and wrap around your neck more than once.
