A Visit to Websters Yarn Store in Ashland, Oregon
Recently I was visiting Southern Oregon and stopped in at Websters in Ashland. Every time I go to see my parents, I

have to stop by this local yarn store and see what’s new. I was happy to see the store was teeming with customers – maybe buying yarn for Christmas projects? I found some wonderful yarns on the sale shelves.
I got this beautiful Silver Thaw by Noro on the sale shelf. Since it was on sale, I had to get two of them, naturally.
This yarn is made of 50% wool, 25% angora and 25% nylon and I love the way the colors are blended.

The yarn on the left is by Mountain Colors in Corvallis. It’s 100% worsted wool and the colors are really vibrant.
I also got some Squiggle yarn by Crystal Palace to put with it to make a sort of fringy looking scarf. I’ve been looking around for patterns for one and think I’ve found a couple

that would work.
My other find was some alpaca silk yarn by Debbie Bliss that will make another great slouch hat. Very soft!

Websters has a terrific catalog with lots of knitting books and yarns, plus a nice newsletter you can sign up for too. If you’re ever in Ashland, I’d highly recommend this store. The staff is friendly and they have a great selection.

I’m not associated with the Websters, I just visit there when I go home to OR. You can contact them through their website, The Websters
