Recently, I found out a good friend and neighbor has breast cancer. In this situation, there isn’t much I can do except be supportive and offer to help if I can. Since she was soon having chemotherapy, I decided to knit her a chemo hat or two to cheer her up. Here are some of the wonderful patterns you can find free on the Internet for knitting chemo hat. Even if you don’t personally know someone going through chemo, these hats make great donations to your local cancer society.
If you’re a beginner or want an easy hat knitting pattern, here are some resources for you, including how to figure out how many stitches to cast on. Lots of links to easy hat patterns which will be quick to make if you need gifts for the holiday.
10% of the total earnings from my blog go to Friends of the Arlington, Texas Animal Services to help get abandoned dogs and cats new homes.
