I found a simple lacy scarf pattern which incorporated beads into it. Here’s the pattern I used and the resulting lacy beaded scarf.

These pieces will make my freeform knitted baby blanket. Since I recently found out my daughter is having a girl, I can go with more pink now.
I’ve just discovered freeform knitting and I love it! After having great trouble following patterns, freeform seemed heaven sent. There are some great inspirational blogs on freeform knitting too.
